Please note that for security purposes, you may be asked to provide photographic identification at check-in. A preauthorization is required upon check in for guests with credit card.
Reservation must be paid in full and guaranteed by a credit card at the time of booking.
Reception is open between 8am to 10am and from 3pm to 7pm each day.
Guests Check-in is any time after 3pm. Accommodation fees are prepaid at time of booking and are based on a daily rate as per the website. Any queries should be directed to email@example.com.
Guests Check-out time is before 10am
Guests need to notify reservations at least two days in advance if you plan on extending your stay so that we can accommodate. If you will be leaving at a time when Reception is not open, please make sure check-out arrangements have been made with a manager prior to your departure.
Only registered paying guests are eligible to stay (names provided at start of stay). Family members and friends coming to visit will need to find alternative accommodation.
SMOKING & ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES
A smoking bay is located at the back of the property. There is to be no smoking of any kind inside the property. This includes outside areas such as the balconies & driveway. If you are found smoking you will be asked to leave & no money will be refunded. No illegal substance of any kind is to be on the premises. Same rule applies - If you are found smoking or in possession of any Illegal substance you will be asked to leave and no money will be refunded. This is due to insurance purposes as well as respect to others enjoying their stay at this property.
Management accepts no responsibility for personal effects lost or damages by fire or theft. Guests are liable for any damage by negligence or vandalism caused to the allocated room(s) or to The Burfield premises or property caused by you or any persons in your party (whether or not staying at the Hotel) during your stay. The Burfield reserves the right to retain guests credit card/debit card details and charge such amounts as it deems fit to compensate for any loss, damage, costs or expenses incurred or suffered by The Burfield as a result of any damage. Regardless, The Burfield further reserves the right to commence legal proceedings without notice.
We take pride in making sure that everything to do with your accommodation runs smoothly for the duration of your stay. We promote a non-party, peaceful atmosphere at our lodge for you to enjoy your time here at Sun Peaks.
Please be respectful of others staying at The Burfield.
Responsible use of alcohol is permitted. Any irresponsible use of alcohol will result in immediate eviction from the premises.
Sleeping bags are not allowed.
If pods or suites are damaged or left extremely dirty during a stay, guests will be charged the amount it costs to replace damaged item + CAD$50/hr. labour fees to return room to its original state. This includes missing/damaged remotes, bedding, towels, windows, TVs, window screens, appliances, fixtures, furniture, doors, lights, mirrors, etc. We are a small family-run business and have created a space to be enjoyed and respected. As we will do our best to serve you please return the courtesy.
Any violation to the above regulations will result in immediate eviction and no refunds will be offered.
The Management reserves the right to deny accommodation.
Short-Term Reservations: 1 to 7 nights
Any cancelations outside of 7 days prior to arrival date, the first night charge is non refundable. Any cancelations inside of 7 days prior to arrival date, the entire stay (incl. taxes) will be charged to the Credit Card provided and is non refundable.
Long-Term Reservations: more than 7 nights and less than 28 nights
Any cancelations outside of 28 days prior to arrival date, the first 7 night’s charge is non refundable. Any cancelations inside of 28 days prior to arrival date will be non refundable.
Long-Term Reservations: more than 28 nights
Completely non-refundable. We’re unable to refund your stay if you plans change.

We understand that the current global climate is one of uncertainty and therefore our updated cancelation
policies to a transparent cancellation fee schedule.

The Burfield Cancellation Policy
Cancellation fees for any reservation at The Burfield will follow the above cancellation fee schedule during Summer 2020 (June to November 2020). Cancellations must be emailed to The Burfield and the date will be noted as received. Depending on when the reservations is cancelled, cancellation charges will be assessed as stated on the Cancellation Fee Schedule above relative to you're reservations confirmed arrival date.
No refunds will be made in the event of interruption or cancellation of the reservation after check-in.
No refunds will be given on any reservation for no-shows.
